No one is going to live forever.
When it sinks in, it can be one of the scariest sentences you ever hear - or one of the most freeing.
You only get one shot at it, so what if today we asked ourself:
- Is what I'm stressing about today going to matter in one year?
- Is what I'm working on today going to help me get to where I want to be next year (or in 5 years)?
- Is what I'm trading my life for today what I ultimately want to be doing? If not, what can I do today to move into a place where I can?
We often think about these things as "would be nice if" thoughts in passing. Rarely do we put pen to paper and take the first step to making them happen - writing them down and outlining a plan.
Instead of being stressed about this one opportunity that is lie, worried or weighed down by what's happened in the past, or anxious about the future - be encouraged that you get to choose what you do today and how you can make the most of it.
